Who Makes the Pens that are available through DeLuca ink.?
We do! They are made proudly in Knightdale, North Carolina, USA! We Make each and every one by hand using a variety of tools including a lathe. All pens are turned on the lathe, by hand, to ensure proper fit and finish.
How Many of each pen do you make?
Nature provides us the opportunity to acquire some incredible species of wood! Just like each snowflake though, each piece of wood is unique. While we can produce a number of each "style", they all will slightly differ! Usually though only one of each style will be produced unless requested specifically by the customer.
How long does it take to produce the instruments that I see at DeLuca ink.?
The Whole Time! In all seriousness, each one provides a slightly different turning and or finishing experience. Some are knocked out in a few hours, while others such as sculpted pens, have taken the better part of the day, the week, or even the month. All orders are unique.
Can I custom order a pen, with my on colors, logos, or designs?
Please do! As we love a new challenge, and have a need to create! These are always priced on an individual basis, yet as all of our products are made by hand, there is little to no difference for a specific acrylic color or species of wood. Things that could change that previous statement include, availability of wood species, and engraving.
How long will it take to process and ship my order?
Although we do our best to make this happen as quickly as possible, please allow for up to 48 hours for your order to be processed. As long as you are ordering something in stock, we will always ship within 24 hours of processing your order. If you would like something that is currently not in stock, and has to be made to order, we ask that you allow up to two weeks for production. You will be updated as soon as your piece is finished, and will be shipped within 24 hours after being tested for quality.
What sort of warranty does DeLuca ink. provide?
At DeLuca ink. we offer a lifetime unconditional guarantee against defects or component breakage that may occur during normal use. We do not cover negligent use, or cosmetic damage such as dents, or plating scratches that may occur from daily use. We do however offer repair services for any issues not covered under warranty.
